Keep in mind that blu-ray can't handle anything beyond 3D/1080p/24fps at the very best
Wow. Can this HDV produce something beyond 3D? Crazy.
I'm perfectly content with my Blu Ray player at the present moment. When a new format comes out I'll look into it once the price goes down, much like I did with DVD and Blu Ray. So I'm guessing I still have ten more years before I'll upgrade to anything else. And so long as the trend to keep things backwards compatible there would only be select movies I'd upgrade, much like my transition from DVD to Blu Ray.
