Shadow of the Colossus just has awkward physics and an awkward control scheme that results in having quite a steep learning curve for just the basics. I keep dying to the first colossi because I cannot seem to grasp everything yet and I keep getting the feeling that I never will.
Seriously? It...really isn't that hard to get used to the control scheme.
