Even if that did happen, then still the "John Cena is fired" stip being broken did not hurt the angle at all.
Because we already established that Punk would be leaving! Breaking THAT "stipulation" ruins the angle in and of itself, throwing another broken one on top of the pile doesn't kill it any worse.
