I've had tons of roommates, and I just love how that episode really shows what it's like to live with someone. You just start getting annoyed by the smallest and most pointless of things. And as you get annoyed with eachother things just escalate into some kind of cold war. It was sooo accurate.
Until the demon part I guess.
This was actually one of my least favorite episodes ever for exactly this reason. They showed what roommates are really like, which means Buffy was being completely unreasonable when she insisted her roommate must be a demon. But then she magically turns out to be right, and gets to say "I told you so" to all her friends. I guess you can say it's "slayer instincts", but I really hated it. I liked Buffy's character for the first 3 seasons, but after this episode I disliked her for a long time.
