Haggar and Tron's assists didn't take work to get. You could use them right off the bat. Wright has to get the evidence and land the objection. It isn't a sure thing. Without the invincibility, it's totally useless. It doesn't go nearly far or fast enough and leave Wright open forever.
And while Tron's assist was overpowered (Haggar's is mostly the same), when they nerfed it everyone relegated her to trash tier, which she is. That's the big issue here - they took away the only thing keeping him from trash tier, and didn't give him anything in return. It's bad balancing, especially when there are very, very obvious things to balance.
