You're actually too close to the Bro Area (I checked it out, didn't mine anything, don't worry). Not much I can do, unfortunately.
My advice if you want to protect your area is to find the border of the Bro Area (you should see messages like "Welcome to the Bro Area" or something at the border) and select an area away from that with a wooden pickaxe (left click one corner, right click another, creating a cube area). If you want the whole vertical area to be selected, type "/res select vert" after that. Then, "/res create <name>" to create your property lines. Finally, "/res set <name> move false" to block all non-admins from your property.
You're free to keep part of your mine in the Bro Area, but keep in mind that anything in the Bro Area is free for anyone to access.
