Ammy's gone on good runs before. Kratos, Drake, Marcus Fenix, etc have done ok. There's probably a GSC pokemon out there that would do respectably. And there's always a dark-horse of "what if mario/zelda fans rally behind one of their side characters like Midna or Rosalina or Majora's Mask? Yeah, said characters haven't been that strong before, but that was in contests with Mario/Link...."
