Luis hexes TRE, and ooze starts to pour out of his body, while TRE summons a godly evocation. Both sorcerers suddenly find themselves too busy dealing with their opponent's machination to make any additional attempt to win the duel.
TRE desperately attempts to prevent his body from turning to sludge. Transforming the air won't exactly help, he can't conjure any fortifications that will protect him from a hex, and it would be too late for accuracy control if it were even possible to prevent this kind of attack. His only hope at this point is to freeze himself with Cold Beam to stop the oozification, and hope that Luis succumbs to the might of his godly avatar.
Luis summons a defensive conjuration of his own, which lasts for about point-two seconds against the wrath of the behemoth. Fortunately, point-two seconds is as long as he needs to cast a great, thunderous chain to the beast, leashing it to the ground for now. As great and thunderous as it may be, this is a temporary solution at best. He casts Electrical Bolts at it, followed by a Rain of Lava and Disappearance, but the creature appears to be impervious to both and he only succeeds in weakening his chain. As the creature begins to come free, Luis curses it to be stuck in a thick web of brambles coated in razor-sharp thorns and that emit a secretion that slows the actions of potential opposition or prey. It appears to be sufficiently subdued to get back to...
Having used all this spells but one, Luis is concerned, until he turns around and sees a block of frozen TRE. He laughs and walks up to the icy statue. A sharp kick to the chest, which he hopes would shatter TRE only manages to hurt his foot. He frowns, but walks away unfettered. The gauntlet of annihilation is a dangerous place in its own regard. He'll use his Alter Breathing to ensure he escapes for any attackers, and leave TRE to be victimized by the inevitable beasties that will defend with nightfall. By the time he thaws, he will have no chance...assuming that the Perfected Hex of Ooze even wears off...I mean, c'mon, it's *perfected*.
