It didn't even take that long, IMO!
...Personally it pretty much lost me after about 6 episodes. I watched the whole thing out of a twisted sense of obligation, but I never got the hype for really... any part of it. >_>
It had some pretty interesting concepts, but just... never really delivered on them all that well, IMO.
Yeah, well, there is one specific part I have in mind.
If Death Note wrapped it p at about the half way point, it is probably one of the 20 best anime ever. As it was, it did not....
