Necessary Evil
Do we live in a world
where evil has won?
It seems wherever we turn
the damage has been done.
But if you use your mind
like the Hubble Telescope,
your eyes will focus on
your languishing hope.
And if you use your heart
like an Electron microscope,
your eyes will focus on
a life with a downward slope.
To understand consciousness
we must broaden our vision,
connect until we are whole
as birds flying in unison.
Science is much like evil;
necessary and innate.
The war is eternal,
but the outcome is great.
