I assume in most cases folks go as a group to simply have fun together and for safety. Whether or not some folks want that one-on-one dance might vary between individuals. I was actually concern when my sister went to her prom with a coworker because the decision to go with her coworker was a last minute thing. Fortunately she and her friends went as a group so there wasn't too much concerns of fowl play. Honestly I feel the fond memories you make with your friends is all that matters at the end. My friends and I have experienced numerous mishaps in our lives and when looking back at them they were pretty stupid mistakes but we lived through them and laugh at ourselves now for what happened. --- "You must gather your party before venturing forth" "Go for the eyes Boo!
