I feel like this happens every time someone who wasn't meant to be rich becomes rich.

Self-made billionaires seldom get to where they are by accident-- they know exactly what they're doing and how to do it, even though they may not convey it properly.

I've always found it cute how people love to defend Musk as some wonderful altruistic pioneer. He's just another businessman building interest in products and services-- he capitalizes on a lot of the futurology hype that younger generations have built up (space exploration, driverless cars, etc.)
