Like do you define it by state? Like I know you'd consider Texas or like Tennessee "country" but what about Dallas or Memphis? Would you still consider that "country"???

It's when I hear americans talk about city folk and country folk and shit like that

Okay how do you define it????? Is it more just rural setting as opposed to urban setting like the rest of us define it?

The terms city folk and country folk aren't that widely used but, as far as cities go, not all cities are associated with "city folk," that's really just more places like NYC, LA, etc.

if you have to drive 30 or more minutes to get to the nearest walmart, youre country

Then NYC is the epitome of country. No Walmarts here at all

It has two Wal-Marts within 30 minutes of it.

The closest walmarts are in LI or on the way there (or in Jersey) and neither of those is 30 mins by car. 40-60.
