| usui88 04/04/17 3:33:42 AM #1: | A friend I've known for almost 14 years is terminal with stage 3 thyroid cancer and it's seriously getting to me. The fact that we just had a conversation about making sure I'm able to visit before he dies is fucking with my head so much. I mean I lost my grandmother to lung cancer when I was really young, and I've had a few friends survive breast cancer, but I've never had to deal with anything like this. He was diagnosed three years ago and it's been awful seeing what this has done to him. Until this point it's been just a given in my head that he was going to be okay and it's just hitting me that no, he's not. --- Living like this is a full-time business. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
