It's one of the best possible examples of that genre. Just because it may share some traits with a different genre doesn't mean it is. It's not even the next go-to genre. Action/adventure with puzzle elements would be a better description than action/adventure with RPG elements. The only ones that might have that switched up are Zelda 2 and BotW.
