My whole town is basically just a massive dairy farm. Literally 20 feet from my house is my neighbir's cow pasture. It's not so bad unless you go past certain farms, or when they spread the manure over the massive cornfields spread between the farms.

Also, there was an asphalt plant built directly across the street from my house, it smelled pretty bad. The wind would blow the smell directly to us lol. Unfortunately, we're the only people that lived within smelling distance. Although, the other people didn't like driving past and getting a whiff of it, do they all petitioned to have the place shut down. My family was the only ones that didn't actually sign it, but it still got shut down. It's been sitting there, empty, on a 20 year lease, for like 10 years. >_>
