DorkLink 04/05/17 7:33:41 PM #52:	I recently played a lot of the 2D Zelda games for the first time and I still think ALttP is the best, though I first played ALttP years ago. The rest, while they might have aspects that are better than ALttP, all just feel too derivative of it overall. It's one of those formula-perfecting games, so the others have a good foundation on which to make small improvements, but they never really take big risks with the formula. Even the riskiest ones, the DS games, still felt a little derivative to me, and regardless, they're still weak entries for other reasons.
