I think I'm gonna do what I should have done a long time ago and finally stop following them. I kept up for a long time pretty much just because he was one of the original YouTubers, but I don't know why since AVGN peaked in like 2008 or 2009.

It's pretty much just a generic YouTube channel starring Mike Matei nowadays. Mike fucking sucks, and no amount of the channel forcing him on the audience is going to make me pretend to like him. Of course, even the occasional video that James appears in is almost always completely uninteresting to me lately. I pretty much only look forward to AVGN but at this point I don't think I'd really be missing out on much skipping that either. And Ryan, fucking Ryan. He gets a lot of unfair and mean-spirited hate, but even I have to say that any time I see he's in a video it's an instant non-watch for me, and it doesn't feel right seeing a lot more of him about the same time that Bootsy "quit".
