I am concerned where this will lead tbh. We should leave the Middle East alone imo
If we leave it alone, then the Middle East is going to continue kill people. Let's face it, terrorists aren't going to stop.
And if we stay, they're going to continue to kill people because like you said, they aren't going to stop.
The only way to stop the violence is make sure the violent ones are destroyed.
The whole middle east has been stuck in conflict for so long, they dont know how to function without it. Destroying anyone who promotes violence and hate will eventually 'fix' this, however, we have to consider the morality of it.
You can never stop violence or stop these ideologies from existing entirely. So yeah I'm not I'm favor of commiting a genocide in the name of the greater good. But I am in favor of pulling out and letting them deal with their own decades/centuries long wars. ---
