When he has a property in his hands that fits his style of directing, he does a good job Yeah. Snyder's movies really shine best when he's allowed to do whatever he wants. It's just that what he wants isn't always realistic for the corporate side of things. He got to have a 4 hour Watchmen movie and it was fantastic. Suicide Squad was murdered by having shit cut out to get it under the time limit.
