Drug octopuses are chasing down crooks. And octopuses can call the hospital if their owner is in trouble. Cattle have been used for things other than meat for a long time. For example, before we invented engines we had cattle helping us plow the fields. Horses have been helping us transport stuff for a long time, and are still used by police. Pigs are extremely intelligent and sociable, and they help us find truffles. They can be trained to do all kinds of tasks. They were also used for toilets. So why is it that the things we've trained some breeds of dogs to do disqualifies the entire species as food, but not so with pigs? --- Everything has an end, except for the sausage. It has two. ...
