They just bring out the worst in some people, and certain dominant alphas take liberties by doing those things because they think they have free reign in them, specifically because they think no one will call them out on it or challenge them to turn the volume down. I use to get into arguments with people blasting their music a lot. I've can't even bother now anymore because the last couple of times, I was threatened to be taken off the train along with the person blasting their music because we were both causing a disturbance.
