Topic	Question: What gives the autority to the US to start bombing other countries?

Its because terror networks have grown enough to operate within borders of unstable countries. Countries where there are limited resources to deal with the terrorist activities. Assistance is given to help train and counter the terrorist activities but its not enough. It takes tremendous effort and money to get these governments able to handle such established terrorist groups. It perpetuates the American involvement within the region. These groups target the closest ones they can and commit to long term plans it seems. These groups take the fight to neighboring nations and allies of America. Its retaliation for the American involvement with its allies i guess. When these terrorist groups kill innocent noncombatants, action is required and its answered by America. It should be a UN effort but its usually America that takes indirect and direct actions. The reason why America has vested interest there is also because of the indecision of our leaders. Seems nobody can decide because its 50/50. If 1 nation makes the decision, its too aggressive and unpopular with other nations. If a nation acts to passively, the country falls into turmoil dragging everyone around it down. If superpowers are at odds, it can escalate into serious division where allies choose their sides. Its very delicate and the general response is waiting until America is triggered to so something like the use of chemical weapons. the whole refugee crisis was brought about from the instability in the region. The displacement of that many people creates burdens youre seeing in Europe. Culture clashes, refugee camps, and growing resentment are issues that a may plague the humanitarian efforts. So, these are how i see it. Theres too much political, geographical, and cultural differences to resolve the instability in that region.
