| Topic | How come Koga got promoted to the Elite Four? |
| Distant_Rainbow 05/03/17 3:18:40 PM #16: | Probably it's the fact that he was replaceable, in that he had a daughter who was likewise a Trainer, and skilled enough in the same Pokemon type to immediately take over as a Gym Leader in his absence. Maybe(bar Giovanni for obvious reasons) none of the other 6 Gym Leaders had someone primed and ready to step in the original Leader's shoes, unlike Koga's case. That's a 'plot' explanation though, and If we're asking why the devs settled on Koga of all people for the new E4 guy instead of one of the other 6 Leaders or outright introducing someone brand new like Will and Karen, then I don't have any idea. --- Link meets Fire Emblem in CYOA: Tales of Elibe!
