The shape and consistency of your stool indicate that you have a soft stool. It is very close to the "perfect stool" that you're trying to produce. A "perfect stool" is like a large, soft, fluffy and easy to pass twelve inches (about 30 cm) sausage. Try adding probiotics to your diet. Probiotics are commonly consumed as part of fermented foods with active live cultures, such as yogurt or dietary supplements.

Very light brown stool might indicate too much fat in your diet or constipation. Try increasing fiber content in your diet and remove some fat.

The ideal stool is about one inch (2.54 cm) in diameter and twelve inches (about 30 cm) long.

If you defecate from three times a day to once every three days you're in the normal range. On average a person defecates about once a day.
