| saspa 05/05/17 4:15:55 PM #21: | The entire movie was a love letter to Hollywood of old, did you not watch rebel without a cause? That's the planetarium where they were in the movie! The surrealist cheesy nature of the scene is what the movie was about... of course I assumed that was the point, the movie would go a direction that it ultimately didn't, in that they would show this fairy tale romance but then cut to months/years later and they hate each other, are poor, old and haggard looking, something like that. It felt like that was where the movie was going because of all the recent trends of subverting classic boy meets girl stories (like in Frozen where they made the sweet prince I'm fine with them not going that route. --- ...
