People who are voting for 2001 don't know what a good game is.

I think you don't know what a good game is. Both years had great games. 2001 had more. Deal with it

Too many nostalgia nuthuggers on this site. You should all just be out in a time machine and sent back to the 90's becuase that's the only era you care about.

Yes because everybody knows FF 10 is the best FF ever.

I don't care what the best game is. FFX is clearly a strong game. But add in a ton of other games and you have a better year

I've not heard any compelling argument about 95 being better aside from chrono trigger being the best game ever. Which it isn't. I wouldn't even put it in my top 5 snes games or top 10 games of the 90's.

Then you are wrong.... Period. Not you have a disagreeable opinion, you are just wrong. Not everyone has to have CT in their top 3 or 5 games ever, that's fine. Not everyone has OoT in their top 3 or 5 either.

But both of them are top 10 of the 90's and top 5 for their console.... PERIOD.

Calm down. No I'm not wrong. You're wrong becuase you think just because ct is this top game it should beat an entire year worth of the top games. Well guess what. It's losing. And rightly so. 95 was terrible compared to 2001.

People who don't like rpgs can easily have a top 10 or even. Top 20 without chrono trigger. Not everyone has OoT in their top 10 either. It's called opinions. Chrono trigger was a great game for its time but it's one of many dozens of outstanding games of the 90's.

I actually played over 100 snes games back in the day.

Maybe it's because I didn't play chrono trigger until the 2000's.

Chrono trigger never came out in my continent. Not my fault. It didn't have a big of an impact on me. I played many jrpgs before I touched ct. it's still a great game.
