Internet for $30 doesn't sound so bad. I don't use 90% of that shit anyway.

The stuff I do use in the picture would in no way be noticeably impacted by 128k throttling. Might even improve sites as they are forced to create more efficient code instead of everyone competing for the most bloated pile of ass on the web.

This image is totally hypothetical but it says you are capped out at 500mb and have to pay $5 for every 500 after that

Would be the end of video streaming and online gaming for some people

Getting their internet cheaper than it's ever been would be the end of online gaming for some people? Seems like odd logic.

Also, the image says nothing about $5 for 500MB. It's $5 for 2GB. That's even if you think you need more bandwidth than the throttle allows. 128k with a low latency is enough for playing most games. If you download tons of games and can't figure out how to store them for later then get the gaming package, and I guess most people probably stream videos so tack on the Hollywood package for another $10. That's $45, $50 after September. I don't know what everybody else is paying for internet but that's cheaper than my bill.

I realize this picture is supposed to be doom and gloom, but whoever made the picture doesn't understand networking at all because it shows the exact opposite. You really don't need a gigabit connection to download a bunch of text on Wikipedia.
