In order to do that they would need to own the router that you use. And while a lot of people just get a router from the internet provider, most usually use their own. The real threat that is them selling your browsing data, but even that would only matter if you are running a drug ring out of your house or funding ISIS or something like that. --- I am a senior software engineer.
