I'm not a fan of the "bombastic YouTuber persona either, but it's fairly easy to find walkthroughs and Achievement Guide-style videos for pretty much anything you need that don't have that kind of narration. Even assuming you don't just mute the video and watch the visuals (which are usually all you really need to answer most questions anyway).
