okay so im learning more as i go along. The 50 dollar bill with a fairly low serial star Im gonna go to the bank and deposit in my account. I dont see this as being worth the sell as its not that low (bill no. 90,585) and larger bills are harder to sell. People will spend money on one or five dollar bills with weird numbers like radars and flippers all day, because you can build up a collection of ones, but fifty and hundred dollar bills...it doesnt seem worth it unless the serial is super interesting because people cant just collect those, so a one dollar bill sold for 25 wouldnt scale up to a 100 dollar bill with the same serial being worth 2500. So while somebody might pay 15 bucks for a one dollar with serial number 90585 with a star, on a fifty its unlikely to sell for much as it isnt extremely rare and thats big money to have in a collection binder.

I also found a website, that I cant find at the moment that, if i read correctly, wants to buy bills ending in serials of 00 or higher. No clue what this means but I saw four bills yesterday in my drawers with serials xxxxxx00. So, seeing as I found four examples(and it seems like some bills people spend a lifetime of bank strap hunting looking for) in one day, I dont know who would buy it. I didnt do anything as i needed more clarification.

Now to find that website again...
