Since the moment it was announced lol. Really only way they can do it. Otherwise it would release in 2025 and not turn a profit regardless of how well it sold. I don't care much about the FFVII remake, as i only thought FFVII to be ok-to-goodish.. But I still call BS on how long this is taking. If they are doing what they should be doing, and what pretty much all of the fans want. then the ONLY thing they would be doing here is building a bit for bit, line for line nextgen ver of FFVII... full stop! We know because of the new battle system, as well as other stuff, that this is not happening.
