| Topic | i'm guessing it's not that my PS3 controllers battery was dead |
| helly 06/08/17 2:03:43 PM #1: | but the USB port on the controller is shot. it'll receive power, to turn the controller on, but it wont charge the battery. i put in the new battery just now, and the controller turned on like it's supposed to, but when i plugged it in to charge, it's still telling me "charging failed" both on the wire to the system, and a separate charging base dock thing, and both aren't charging it. so now i guess i gotta buy a new controller. ...
