It just got pushed to release too quickly and suffered from a huge ant-hype wave against it when it was released. I'd be willing to grant you that about 1/3rd of DA:I's story is better than the last 20 minutes of ME3, but that's about the most I'd be willing to concede without suffering a massive concussion. DA:I's narrative is about 1/3rd quality DA story, 1/3rd soul-numbing MMO-flavored plodding grind, and about 1/3rd "What the fuck were you thinking, writers?" And I say this as someone who actually used to prefer DA as a franchise over ME (though I liked both of them), AND who never shit on DA2 as much as some people did (narratively, it might actually be the best game of the three, honestly). Just like ME:A was the disappointment that means I almost certainly won't be buying another ME game in the future, DA:I was basically the disappointment that means I won't be buying a hypothetical DA4. --- "Wall of Text'D!" --- oldskoolplayr76 "POwned again." --- blight family ...
