The world has changed a lot and they still feel archaic. I do believe we need a military and guns should never be banned. They need tighter regulations and stuff but anyone should be able to get any weapon if they are qualified. Yes even rocket launchers. Don't know what the qualification should be but you should be able to get one. Main reason is i feel america should have a strong militia if the need were to ever arise.
