| Soviet_Poland 06/24/17 3:02:55 AM #2: | There was a period when I had medicaid and a small amount monthly on SNAP while I studied for the MCAT and worked part-time. After I took the exam, but before the application season ran its course, I got off the benefits after getting a better job. In six years I'll be in the highest tax bracket, contributing the most to these programs. It helped me out tremendously when I was in a turbulent period trying to break through the biggest barrier of entry for my career. It paid off. I'm perfectly okay paying back my fair share and more. I don't care that some people exploit the system.
