MariaTaylor 08/14/17 7:05:37 PM #103:	okay watching that video I figured out exactly why you're so bad at navigating. for one thing you keep opening the map way too often to try and determine where you are and where you're going. this itself is kind of a problem because the game map is actually very small and you should be able to very quickly memorize where everything is and just go there by habit. I feel like you're crippling your ability to learn the layout by relying on the map so heavily. basically your brain isn't forming ideas about where things are in relation to each other and instead you're always just constantly thinking about where your next goal is in relation to where you're currently standing. however, this is an even bigger problem because the map doesn't show where you are standing. it took me a while to realize this but it seems like you are behaving/navigating as if you think the player icon on the map shows exactly where you are standing and then you try to go somewhere based on that. what the map actually does is this... it shows where everything in the village is in relation to each other. then, when a player goes to a certain "area" it puts the player icon over that "area." so like when you're in the space above town where the community center is it just shows the player icon in the center of that "area"... whether you're standing to the left, right, up, down, or whatever part of that whole open area. it will always show the player icon in the middle. basically don't think of the player icon as telling you where you're standing, but instead it just tells you which area you're in. a few other things... you seem to be confusing the playground for the community center. the playground is to the left of the community center. every time you bring up the map and you want to go to the community center you immediately go to the playground after. then you bring up the map again and it shows you in this area, so then you keep heading left until you leave the area, because you think the community center is to the left of you (it's not) hopefully this info helps --- ~* I knew that there was no exit out of this maze.~* http://i.imgur.com/haAoNcg.png <cite>MariaTaylor posted [p:884778674] in As request...
