The middle option is scientifically wrong, because it's a proven fact that temperature alters how your taste buds detect "sweet" and "bitter". Sweet tastes get stronger when you warm them up, and bitterness gets stronger the colder something is.


However, that depends wholly on your interpretation of "sameness" which, within the context, could refer to being identical in quality. Barring that, there are differences in sensitivity with taste buds.
