Wouldn't the nurse be violating HIPPA if she allowed the cop to take her patient's blood, if the cop didn't have a warrant? Even if that's not the case, submitting to the police when they're in the wrong? Saying "Just let them do this wrong thing, the courts will back you up." seems less like supporting the police, and more like bending the knee. I mean yeah if the police are arresting you and you know you didn't do anything, don't get yourself killed resisting.... but you have a legal right to say 'no' to the police.
