I dont think so. The BoS see synths as abominations and the Railroad helps them. I'm pretty sure you can be friendly with either or and the Minutemen but not all 3.

I already said that this is exactly how my first playthrough ended up. I built the device with Minutemen, and because I never did the "kill the other guys" quest for either BoS or RR, they just both continue to exist.

It doesn't make sense cuz 1.
They are saying Kellogg didn't age for over 70 years. Now. They address this nonchalantly but they can't save / prolong anyone elses life at the institute? Brrrrrt. Try again.
Also Nick says he relatively recently saw Kellogg with Shaun.
Now could it have been a synth? Not likely. It doesnt really line up with the flashback.
The director was a dumbfuck and likely not Shaune.

Oh, there's certainly some inconsistencies there. I assumed Kellogg's non-aging was because they did stuff to him that they realized wasn't a good idea for others. Or the director simply had a condition they couldn't fix.

I don't recall where Nick says he saw Kellogg with Shaun since I played the main quest bits at a time, so I wasn't cataloguing every moment as I went, but Nick is a cyborg himself, so he could've been around 50 years ago if that's when it happened. I doubt that's actually the case, but just floating that out there. I don't recall the flashback, though. Why couldn't it have been a synth? They obviously made some Shaun synths.
