Topic | How did you choose SNES over Sega Genesis, or vice versa? |
Airhammy 09/15/17 5:28:54 PM #11: | My dad got me an NES when I was 4 (1987). I'm not sure if I even knew what a video game really was at the time. Originally he meant to get it as a bonding tool but that didn't happen. Anyway what few games I had and later rented I really enjoyed. Later in life I got an SNES for my 10th birthday (1993). Among my friends one had a Genesis which I found a little fun, but thought Nintendo had the better games. Then I had a Korean friend who had a Super Famicom and disk system so I saw a number of games through him. As time went on I stuck with Nintendo as they had the games and characters I enjoyed the most. I did however buy a used Playstation in 2002 as I wanted to buy the MegaMan titles that were coming out for it, and some friends gave me other games I enjoyed playing on theirs (like Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun, and Armored Core) --- ...
