Bruford is an exceptional drummer but I can't for the life of me think of a great song he wrote. all of the stuff he did with bruford (the band) and earthworks is pretty great. yes' five per cent for nothing is also a pretty decent tune (not great though). Colaiuta, as far as I'm aware, has never written anything beyond a drum part, though he has been on a million things, so I'm not sure what you're on about here i remember hearing a jazz fusion song on the radio that colaiuta wrote years ago. maybe i'm totally confusing him for someone else, though. --- Geothermal terpsichorean ejectamenta ...
