Why must you do this to me? For real. I should just not vote. Out of protest. And indecision. Ding ding ding! :) I know it's hard guys (and gals), and it's only going to get harder. But we have to do it (and follow the correct procedures, please). For science. Seriously (long rant inc), last match what we had was the unfortunate matchup of two new generation (debuted 2014 or later) groups. There's 11/32 new gen groups (12 if you count Brave Girls), and 9 of them are in the second half of the bracket, where they have 3 double up matches. It was all random! The only way I influenced the bracket (besides carefully tweaking my own nominations, which did pick out second seeds out of third seeds, influencing this other unfortunate matchup for example) was fabricating an extra nom for Twice, which I thought should be the fourth first seed, being the most popular group currently. After that I just randomed the lists and lined them up. And it seems for various reasons older groups have a bit of an advantage. I was thinking if and when I do this again I will do it for new gen groups only. I know this may sound bad, but we had to leave out a lot of new groups (although there's certainly plenty of hot old groups we left out, too: Apink, Spica, Rania, etc), and there's so many new groups with top visuals that have been coming out, which I think would make for a more interesting competition, out of the heavy (albeit very hot) shadow of their seniors.
