Eggs are only part of the story. Unless you're using pasteurized flour (not likely - flour is generally produced with the assumption you're not going to be eating it raw) you're at risk of getting e. coli and the like from consuming it raw.

yeah raw flour is a danger too.

You can pre-bake your flour and then make eggless dough that is safe to eat raw.

otherwise the flour and/or eggs are a risk.
