A good inventory system makes or breaks a game for me and a well put together one is very enjoyable for me. I guess I'm gettng old when my favorite part of a game is the inventory and menu. I like it to be complex, but also accessible. One of my favorites is Deus Ex, you have all the information you need at your fingertips. Past conversations, photos, notes and even notes that you can add yourself (I don't know why other games don't do this).
