The reasons why arent really important. Theres a certain type of personality that will rather just hook up with people while still in a committed relationship than end the relationship like an adult and then go be single and free. And that sort of personality trait doesnt just disappear with a new partner. She might be happy for awhile but what happens when shes unhappy again? Unless theres been a shift in her personality shes likely to cheat.

I realize that some people really do only cheat once and then never again but its far more likely that if someone is willing to cheat once that theyre willing to do it again, regardless of whether theyre a man or a woman.
