TopicAll right sensitive souls of PotD, what's a good entry point for rom coms?

I'm not sure there's such a thing as a great entry point. However, I will mention that I enjoyed How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (starring Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey) and 10 Things I Hate About You (starring Heath Ledger, Julia Stiles, that chick from Alex Mack, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt). What Women Want (starring Mel Gibson) was also a fairly fun film.

Oh, plus I liked Some Like It Hot, which I *believe* is a rom-com rather than just a normal comedy.

As for ones to avoid, The Sweetest Thing was absolutely awful. Great-looking cast, but absolutely terrible film.

50 First Dates. It has Adam Sandler, but it's one of the only romcoms I can think of off the top of my head that I like. It's a Sandler movie, so it's got some goofiness, but overall I found it enjoyable.

Yes, as far as Sandler films go, it wasn't bad.
