I just think it's weird how people expect you to stay until you find something then leave. in other words, you're better off actively job searching while already working. Kyuubi4269 posted... Because you are generic and replaceable to employers so your main distinguishing feature is willing to leave if abused. Sad truth really Zangulus posted... I quit my last job because they were giving me health problems and it was a s*** company to work for, without anything lined up. I got unemployment, and when my current job called to do a quick phone interview he asked m about there and I told him I no longer work there. He took that to mean they laid me off, because there were a lot of rumors about that company at the time. yea for my field (accounting) layoffs are happening because tax season just ended so companies are getting rid of people.
