Aguilera has a much better.vocal range, and if we're being honest out of that whole group of Pop tarts, Joss Stone and Michelle Branch were more my type. At the time, Aguilera seemed the hottest of those four, but now she's kinda gross. She put on a lot of weight and it doesn't flatter her figure. I give Aguilera credit for a wider vocal range than even Mariah Carey by almost 2 and a half octaves the same way I give late 80s-early 90s Axl Rose credit for his vocal range. Doesn't mean they didn't fuck up their careers completely for whatever reason. Joss Stone actually pisses me off though...gorgeous and has a voice that just should not come out of that body at all, but by all accounts a total ** that nobody in the industry will have anything to do with at this point so her career tanked.
