Topic	I need to tell you about my favourite songs and albums of 2017.

I'm a pretty big Blondie fan, but nobody is eagerly anticipating a Blondie album in 2017. I think my exact thoughts when playing it for the first time were "Well, it might not be terrible", and that turned out to be a huge understatement. Debbie Harry is 72 and this album is good. It's not one of the best of the year, but it's good. This album shouldn't work. We have a 72 year old woman singing in the same style and genre as she did in the 70's and it somehow sounds great. This is genuine new-wave music and even the themes haven't matured. She's still singing about having fun and hooking up and it just sounds right. There is something about people their age doing what they love and actually being great at it that makes me so fucking happy. It's the most unexpectedly inspirational album I've heard... well, there are some competitors this year, but it's still hella inspirational.
